What I Love About Learning Experience Design

I’ve been asked a few times in the last two weeks about what I like the most about what I do in my business. Answer: I love seeing the “a ha!” moments when I’m working 1-1 with someone.

I love it when someone says “I think I always knew that about my audience but I just needed someone to help me talk through it”.  And then they’ll come back later and say how they were able to work on their content or product with more clarity and more effectively. All because we sat down and had a conversation about who they serve on a deeper level. We talked about challenges, needs, motivations, goals. And understanding all of that helped my client see things in such a way that writing/designing/speaking just poured out of them.

Or, I get to work alongside them to build out their course, workshop, or resource. Being a part of the process of producing content and materials that will truly help and resonate with people is so rewarding. I’ve always felt that access to information is a right not a privilege and this work is how I can live up to that belief.

And the reward doesn’t stop there! Now that they’ve taken the time and put in the work into truly understanding and empathizing with their audience they are going to end up with a course or other content that not only sells, but has longevity and produces satisfied, happy clients!
